Quality Control
Incoming Ingredients
Incoming ingredients are tested for basic quality control parameters. Our suppliers know that ChampFood test every ingredient that comes into the plant so they are careful to send only materials that meets our specifications.
Transport of incoming ingredients is done with our own trucks to avoid contamination. The truck-driver makes the first analysis on structure, moisture, dust, color and contamination of the raw ingredients.
In House Storage
Each ingredient is stored in its own bin until used in our supplement. The product is only moved once. This eliminates cross contamination with other ingredients, which is commonplace in today’s feed manufacturing process. By manufacturing in a dedicated mushroom supplement plant, contamination with "unwanted" ingredients is not possible.
Bins are completely cleaned between batches of ingredients to eliminate the possibility of build-ups and mold growth.
Track and Trace System
The whole manufacturing process in our facility is Track and Traceable. Each bag gets its unique identification number and by this number we can track and trace the raw-ingredients, and the complete production cycle of your ChampFood supplement bag. Less errors means better quality supplement for you.
The manufacturing process at ChampFood’s facility is fully automated and requires a minimal amount of labor. Automation means less labor cost per ton of supplement, which means cost savings to you.
Dedicated Factory
ChampFood makes only mushroom supplements.
A dedicated supplement facility eliminates contamination with unwanted ingredients, which is possible in poultry, pig and cattle feed plants. We only buy ingredients to produce mushroom-supplements and we are not forced to find a compromise between ingredients what we can use also for other purposes. A dedicated facility helps us make a more uniform, free-flowing non-dusty product. Our dedicated facility makes small tailor made blends possible and avoid time-lost by shifts between the different products.
